Missoni Baia, a luxury waterfront condo project coming to the Edgewater neighborhood in Miami, will be adding more residences. Miami's Urban Development Review Board has just approved design changes to Missoni Baia which will make the building taller and add more units to the luxury tower. The application letter to the Review Board stated the design changes were due to "shifting market conditions and an increase in demand for smaller units". Missoni Baia will go from 146 to 249 units and will add over 300 more parking spaces. The tower will also be about 5 feet taller and will increase its square footage total from 771,000 to 838,000 square feet.
The project is the first branded residential development from the legendary Italian fashion and design house Missoni. The world-class amenities at Missoni Baia take a large focus on health and wellness, offering one of the largest residents'-only spa in Miami. Other amenities at the Missoni Baia include an Olympic-length lap pool, a lounge pool, an outdoor whirlpool spa, kids' play areas, a 1,700-square-foot gym, a private yoga studio, a private screening room, a game room, a salon, a pet spa, concierge service and much more.
