In yet another example of the thriving real estate market in South Florida, a Miami Beach estate home has sold for a record-breaking 30 million dollars. The Mediterranean-style mansion known as Castello del Sol is located on exclusive La Gorce Island.
Castello del Sol features 8 bedrooms, 9-and-one-half bathrooms, a double kitchen, a library, a private theater, a rooftop terrace, hand-painted ceilings and gold leaf accents. The luxury waterfront estate also contains a one-bedroom guesthouse, a 2-bedroom staff apartment and an on-site guard house. It sits on 349 feet of water frontage.
The sale of Castello del Sol is the most expensive ever recorded on Miami’s La Gorce Island. It is tied for the third most expensive sale ever in Miami-Dade County.
