A new milestone in the early life of the iconic telescope-shaped Elysee Miami has been reached. After breaking ground back in December of 2017, the striking 57-story waterfront condo tower set to rise in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood began its vertical ascent with a massive concrete pour.
The concrete pour, which will be the base of the landmark skyscraper, marks the beginning of the above-ground work. Construction crews worked 20+ hours straight to pour over 260 truckloads of concrete to create the foundation mat – a reinforced slab tying nearly 300 underground pilings together.
Designed by Arquitectonica’s Bernardo Fort-Brescia, the distinctive shape of Elysee is a three-tiered telescoping tower in which each floor level gets wider as the tower rises.
Elysee Miami condos will feature spacious three- to five-bedroom floor plans. The spacious residences will offer 10- to 11-foot ceilings, private elevators, smart technology, gourmet kitchens, designer fixtures, floor-to-ceiling glass and private terrace space showcasing stunning panoramic views of Biscayne Bay.
